Sunderland host Arsenal at the Stadium of Light off the back of a battling point away at Brentford, and Régis Le Bris switches to a back five to shore things up against the league's form side. Danso comes in for his first involvement of the campaign as part of the reshaped defence, with Meunier pushed forward into a right wing-back role in place of Hume; up front, Brobbey holds his place as the lone striker after converting a second-half penalty against Brentford. Habib Diarra remains out with a hamstring injury, but he hasn't featured in the matchday squad all season, so it's continuity rather than a fresh blow.
